Nice one! I like the details of Patroclus' thoughts.

As great as this story is, however, I don't think Patroclus died for his foolishness in the Iliad -- he went to fight Hector alone due to Zeus' doing, and Apollo had been helping Hector ever since. In fact, Patroclus was actually killed by Hector AND the gods -- such as Apollo, he practically injured Patroclus deeply himself and stripped him of his armor borrowed from Achilles.

Well done.

I still can't believe that the poor guy dies! He doesn't deserve it, but he just 'has' to go to war. He's so brave and ready to kill...that it's almost ridiculous. Anyways, great job! I really enjoyed reading this!

I agree with Penelope there. Patroclus is my favorite characer in the story, so.. of course, he was my favorite in the movie, too. Even if he wasn't my favorite.. how could I not love him in the movie; that boy is beautiful. XD

I love this fanfiction.. more than words can say. I wouldn't change a thing, honestly. I think you've really captured movie-Patroclus here. Most people don't even give him a second glance.. which is a shame, especially since he plays such a key role. I believe he's a very interesting character.

I really do wish there were more stories out there like this. I would love to see more of your work with him!
