I, too, would love to hear more stories about Shouya, a very interesting character and a nice new spin on the tired old "Naruko" plot device. Although it is possible to go back and change files so that her name would be Shouyu, the story you've come up to explain the typo is so entertaining and in-character that I prefer it over any corrections you could make.

Speaking of corrections, though, here's one you might want to consider: in Japanese family names, the linking "-i" at the end of adjectives is *never* used...and I think that "small" is usually read "shou" in last names, not "chiisa". So Tsukue-san's name should be Shouoka, or--at a stretch--Chiisaoka. It's one mistake you really won't be able to get away with, so I thought I would give you a quick head's-up, from one author to another. ^_~*

I'm looking forward to the next installment of Shouya's misadventures! And may I second the request for a more detailed telling of her "birth" and first few days of life? I've gotta hear this!

After searching your profile to look for Shouya's origins, I've come to like the character a lot, even if she isn't too original. More stories about her would be welcome. At least one about her 'being born' and medically checked, and another were Naruto formally introduces her to his friends.
