Dr Facer 4/16/12 . chapter 1Very well written and thought of, it is strange to see well made tragedies here, and I'm glad I found this one. |
Iron Lion 1/11/11 . chapter 1 Ilove this story, it has a touch of reality that is heart breaking, and the implied suicide of Wilykit in the end is a terrible but fitting end to this stellar piece of fiction. |
 CrimsonButterfly94 9/17/09 . chapter 1Its so sad, yet its so beautiful |
Dagger Deb 3/28/09 . chapter 1 Wow Nancy! What is it with you and plucky red heads? ;)
I'm more familiar with your Justice League stories, and I've been getting "reaquainted" with the Thundercats recently. This story was a treat, especially since the Wily Twins were my favorites. It has an edginess similar to your DC stuff. Well done.

nowdeleted 12/10/08 . chapter 1This was...breathtakingly beautiful. I have no words to speak for it. Thank you for writing it. |
Vixixi 7/18/08 . chapter 1It has been a long while since I've read a story that made me cry. There is no way to measure how good this story is; there wouldn't be enough room. |
 Cylor 4/30/08 . chapter 1Beautiful. Just beautiful.
A few days ago, I stumbled across some ThunderCats art on DeviantArt, completely by chance. It stirred some distant, nearly-forgotten childhood memories of a beloved story, and characters I'd taught myself to draw nearly 20 years ago. Having never seen much past the show's first season, and been completely unaware of the more recent comic book revival, I nevertheless found myself compelled to run a few web searches, curious to see what those characters (and their fans) have been up to, all these years later.
Thank you for making it worth my while. |
Byrnstar 8/20/07 . chapter 1I remember coming across this a long time ago, and it still hurts to go over it today. This is such a horrid, horrid thing to have to read; it tears my heart apart to think of the Thundercats going out this way - in a long, slow fade, one by one, instead of a blaze of glory.
But ultimately, this is the most likely reality. Something rarely touched on in fanfic because of its bitterness. And almost never is it done as well as in this story. Many kudos to you for sharing it. |
Reinbeauchaser 1/21/07 . chapter 1Words. . . escape me. I am mute from awe. A splendid read, wonderfully written, tearfully read.
And, considering their tenuous future with such limited 'natural' resources, it is an end to the Thundercats that does not surprise me. You wrote it as it probably would have been in the real world.
And, because of your works and the work of one named Spaced Angel, I have changed my Ninja Turtle C2 file to a General file, for the sole purpose of including these superbly written Thundercat musings.
Great job!
Be blessed,

vinnie the geek 2/3/05 . chapter 1I just thought I would check this out, random search and all. Thundercats was actually a pretty good 'toon, considering it was produce in the age of crappy animation. I was pleasantly surprised. This was a good story, and very well written! Realistic dialog, good job developing the character of Kit. Kudos! Vin |

Pamela Reynes 11/4/02 . chapter 1Nancy Brown's stories never fail to amaze me. If you haven't read this sad, touching story, you should. While it brings the Thundercats to an end, it is a charming, heartfelt, tasteful end. |
 Psychick1213 2/12/02 . chapter 1 Wow! *sniff sniff* That... was.. wow! |
