First, this is absolutely, without doubt the best fanfic I have read thus far. I truly truly was sad to see it end. Girl, you had me at hello with this story. I was brought to tears in three places. First when Kitty and Jack boarded the Pearl after he had been held captive in the coal mine, 2nd. when they cried together in their cabin after Kitty was rescued from the plantation and third of course when Kitty died and was buried with Jack. I seriously could go on and on about how phenominal this story was. I look forward to reading the rest of your work. ~HavingSaidThat~

I mean that - i've been reading them every chance i've got for the last few days, i just couldn't stop and ended up being late to more than one lecture! The characters are fantastic and the plot lines different and completely brilliant.

I think this is the first fanfic I've ever done that for - and I've been reading them for nearly five years now. gods.. The ending always makes me tear up. but oh lords... your writing in this is phenomenal! beyond fantastic! Pirate-Chic 2006-09-24 ch 36,	abusei don't know where to beginning. this has to be the best story i've ever read... so sad its over. the ending was sad too... but i was wondering about the pact that jack and kitty made... if jack dies hse dies... but none the less it was great, everything really. your so talented and i can't imagine jack dying but thats what made it so good. i really didnt want it to end and now i have to find a different story to read that wont be as good as this one!... i almost cried by the way...lol. why did it have to end!?!??!?!?!?! no. i dont want to read a different story than this... i also love it when you said like "“Theirs was one of the greatest ever pirate love stories,” that was soo touching... it just reminds me of all the love and stuff... i know i sound gay but its so cute! i love it!... soo sad...

Melanie-Chan 2006-07-09 ch 36,	abuseI would have prefurred it if you left off at the wedding scene. sniff I hate sad endings, and even though this was ment to be perhaps better sweet and perhaps had a tinge of an epic to it (reminds me of gone with the wind) You've spoiled me, I'll ne'er be able to read a single POTC story again with out comparing it to yours. Have you ever thought of writing a book yourself? I would definatly buy it if it turned out like this. You had me hooked until the very end. For at least three days stright I sat on my computer reading the Kitty Groves series, and I have no complaints except for their death. I grew quite fond of them. I absolutatly loved how you kept Jack in character, I would've loved it if they had a child though, or perhaps at the end Kitty accidently got pregnant or something..but that's just hopefull thinking. Another thing that I loved is you didn't make the whole 'life of piracy' thing seem to be a walk in the park, you showed it for what it truely was...violent and more violet, what with rape and the blood shed, lovely way to tie in the characters, abosulutally stunning. Honestly, this is the BEST story i've ever read on even better then some of the books i've read. The only books that have held my attention like this and i've grown so fond of the characters are Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter. It's a shame that the series is really over...and seeing as Jack and Kitty are dead (may their souls rest in peace) there will be no more chapters. I especially like the parts where Kitty is kidnapped and Jack, never failing, rescues her. Hm, maybe i've got issues! Fabulous original characters too. What more can I say? It's great and thanks for all the time and effort of all involved for writing and editing. It's been a wonderful escape from reality. Thanks again.
