I just loved this. It's so compelling and suspenseful, even if you know how is has to turn out. Thanks, Beth Palladino

What can I say? your stories take my breath away, and this one is no exception. One gets used to seeing Daniel Gregg as an unbeatable type, one forgets that at one time he was alive and young and cynical as much as any 22 year old today can be, especially given his younger life and the loss of his parents and such.

I also love the quote from the GAMM book you bring in at the opening, just to pull the reader in .. a stroke of brilliance, my dear! After I first read this story, I pulled out my copy of the book, and let it fall open at random ... guess where it landed? Right at that quote!

Also like the quote about "not letting the sun go down on your anger." (John Bunyan's Pilgrim's Progress) -- I grew up with that one and have tried to follow it always. One never knows how the future will treat you.

I heard Carolyn's voice so clearly from the moment Daniel's 'voice' started speaking, even though you never stated it plainly -- a brilliant piece of writing. Truly you have brought out again how much these two souls were destined to be together.

A magnificent piece of work -- Congratulations once again!

Completely beautiful. Thank you so much Chantal. As one who firmly believes that Carolyn's coming was made known to Daniel in his lifetime, this story made that so real. If only he could have known that her being with him wouldn't happen right away. This was truly a joy to read.

Very good story! Enjoyed the insight into Daniel's feelings and fears while in danger.Nice to see his weaknesses and the strengths he finds to overcome them--whether in a "dream" or from heaven's spirit.

Thanks for this magnificent story. Could imagine the Captain stranded on that island and hear Carolyn's lovely voice. Great one Chantal. Beautiful how you showed that he is her destiny.
