A great story. Very well written.

Cute! Very sweet and emotional. However, Theodred was actualy older then Eomer by ten or thirteen years. I hated how they mede him seem REALLY young in the movie. He was so wise and kingly in the book. There is a part in the Unfinished Tales about him and how he died. If you like Theodred, you should read it.But you have an engaging writing style, and made it an interesting vignette. Good work!

cute story, and i like the stuff about the "tack". it fits the Rohirrim and the brief endearing relationship between the cousins is touching

Oh, this is a beautiful story! I love that you captured a rare stolen moment of peace so well. And there are so few Theodred stories where we get to see his interaction with his cousins. Usually he ends up dead/sick and then dead.

One little warning though; you might want to label this “movie-verse
