Personally, I don't really like Taylor. The way she's described at the begining is a little Mary-Sue-esque. I mean, there's no way that everyone liked her, and I think it's a little unlikely that a freshman would be the band's "Golden Girl."

this rocks! I play the bass clarinet for marching band (the oboe for concert) and found this to be totally awesome! It's true that in marching band, you would do anything for eachother. like literally, anything. marching band is a powerful thing (sorry if that sounded cheesy, but it's true) this year we bought the rights to use the music from the Medal of Honor video game. we had an american flag in the middle of our field and the guard was in costumes that looked like army uniforms. our performances even made the people from the rival bands cry. (to quote a band mom from our rival that was overheard "Every band did really well. We did amazingly, but Loveland's show is the only one that made me cry.") We are the only band in the world to have arranged this music and used it for marching band.
our section's motto: It's a bass thing. you wouldn't understand.

Hee hee ^^ I loved this story. At first I was a bit worried about the negative look at the brass section, but then it all seemed to even out in the end. This was an excellent story.

Hey. Stop looking for pity. we all LOVE your story! It's great 'cuz it isn't disgusting, sappy, or (too)silly. LOL. I know I've never reviewed before, but that's because I wasnted to write a page-long review at the end. Istill may do that, but I had to go ahead and put one in before you go into depression and throw yourself off one of your many cliff-hangers...hehehehe...okay, that was stupid. Couldn't resist. BTW, I'm a freshman, currently in the pit in marching band(yeah! go pit!), was the clarinet section leader when I was in concert band, think you're totally cool, and am wondering why you keep calling her Laura?!? I thought it was Taylor...There's a girl in the pit named Taylor @ my school...at least you called her Laura when she was KICKING BUTT, I appreciate that (my 1st name is Laura), but I'm confused... oh well. Good story! I also know a guy in my band (snare) named Jack, but our Taylor does NOT have a thing with him...nor do I for that matter...oh well. This is getting long. whoo! another one of ur stories! lol I've noticed that u really enjoy writing w/ the ruling a kingdom scenario (ur new D/H fic I can't remmeber the name of it) and u really like the dark and light untied scenario too (Res Ispa and ur other D/H fic) lol omg I saw the 3rd HP movie and Dan was so hot in it! lol Im so glad that other ppl in this world think he's hot lol None of my friends do *pouts* lol No offense to u but I didn't really like this story.
