Very good and very interesting notions, of imagining yourself to be all alone when you're really surrounded by people who love you. Very cool.

Excellent, sweet and touching and how even 3 really close friends can still feel alone when they are around each other.

So many people write these three as operating as a single unit, as one entity with a shared brain. You've remembered that while they are close, they're still seperate. The short paragraphs at the end place little divisions between each person alone - which hurts, really, but is true to life.

that was such an amazing, raw story i don't believe it. it's quite possibly the best one i've read in SUCH a long time, you would've believe how ridiculously much i identified with hermione in the paragraphs where it explains her going to another world while she's reading a book, where the books, "all they ask of you is to read them". that was the part of the story that really struck home with me.
