I loved the mental abuse. You portray his character traits so well. The strugle after the final dose of medication was very well written. I also loved the ending. Wonderful story.

OMG! I love this story, Just got finished reading it for the second time. It took me forever to remember the title of the story, for the first time I read it was almost a year ago. I eventually found the title in a notebook where I kept all my fanfictions listed about a year ago as well. Its one of my favorites and I love the plot idea and flow! Thanks for the fun read twice!

Cute story! I wanted to cry when Kenshin was all dopped up and saw a young version of Kaoru. That and the part when he was kicked out of the barn for being a "devil's child." I enjoyed the story a lot.

Your story is almost too beautiful. A great angle on how Kenshin deals with pain.

Interesting story although I felt K & K were a bit OOC. I am not counting the addiction stuff. I think you handled that very well. I found the scene where Kaoru finds him lost especially touching. I also like how he is so irritable after has has de-toxed. After things settled, I would have liked a slightly better balance between them. Kaoru seems to be too dominant, in my humble opinion. It might have also been interesting to explore the effect of all this on Yahiko but that might have derailed your main storyline too much. It is a sad idea but with the kind of life Kenshin's had and his unworthiness, he is probably a good candidate for such a sad fate.

I know you finished this like two months ago but i just want to say that Your story was so awesome!It had the right tinge of sadness with the perfect ending. Hope to see more from you.
