everytime i read this, i find myself crying at the end. its especially the last two paragraphs that make the tears come. this is such a beautiful, sad, story. its one of those things perfect just as it is, you really capture the emotions strongly.

im glad someone finally decided to do something with lam, cause i love their whole story, but even end up crying throughout book 9. im so impatient to get book number 22 (thats where hes revived right? gil, i mean), cause gil is one of those characters that i feel really in tune with, and really desperately hope that he can find true happiness in the end.

Im always sad that lam dies, though. i always, ALWAYS hate the twins when i think about what they had gil do. how terrible, i wouldnt be surprised if ohkami-san started to portray him as insane (although i hope she doesent). to kill the two peole you love with your own hands, knowing what your doing, trying desperately to stop yourself but never being able to have or find the strength to, then waking up to find their blood on your hands, dead in your arms, with the terrible expressions of shock, fear, betrayl all pinned on their faces. poor gil...

thats why i want gil to be able to heal and ind happiness after his revival (if i find him dead again in later volumes, heads will ROLL! Im already mad that rath killed alfeegi (wah! ALFY-CHAN!

;.;), one of my other faves, so if rune or gil or saabel die i will be really, REALLY P.I.S.S.E.D...). i kinda hope that lam will get revived, but i kinda get the feeling he wont. WAH! T.T

oh, dear! im sorry i got off track, i went into a "my feelings of the characters rant again" didnt i? oops. well the song really goes absolutely wonderful with the fic, great job. i love that lam is so kind and wonderful to gil, even though hes dying because of him...

Hey! I am sorry to say that I didn't review this earlier, although my pal aquajogger and I found it way back on 6/5. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to review, for she was leaving for Germany within a couple of hours (provided I have my facts straight, that is. Not that it matters...).

Therefore, I am FINALLY reviewing, to tell you this story was lovely, very sad, but beautifully done. Now "My Last Breath" always reminds me of Gil/Laam.

And to make it all cuter, I got a kitten two days ago, and he's barely 2 and a half months old, but he has these crazy markings on his face, hands, and feet. I have named him "Gil" because these stripes are fairly parallel to Gil's scars. _ Your story (and Aqua's suggestion) helped me to decide to name him such.

Gil; who is asleep in my dresser drawer, says thank you.

And I am thanking you, for your lovely story as inspiration.

Oh, yes, I thought you might like to read this. Aquajogger sent me a postcard, dated 6/6, and she says "That Gil/Laamgarnas story was _good_..."

NO! OMG OMG OMG OMG! As soon as I realized what song it was I put it on as I listened to the fic. Funny, it just ended. Liek right now. And I started it just at the frist paragraph. OMG! I hate you... I was gonna do a bunch of Gil Laam fics based on Envanescence, but you stole them. *smirk* great minds think alike, huh? OMG I'm so glad you wrote this! It's really well written and it's so sad.. AH! And I'm so unemotional but I'm so sad noW! WAH! I love gil and Laamgarnus. I'm glad though, that I knwo that Gil isn't gone forever. Supposedly Kahr's gonna revive him later in the stories (and Bierrez). And then maybe we'll find out more about Laamgarnus. OMG they are the cutest, saddest couple! this is very good, i want you to do more Gil Laamgarnus, but coudl you onot base it on Evanescense? Cause i have like the best ideas, just no time. LOL. Anyway, this is so amazing, I was about to go to bed then I saw this and I HAD to read it! I hope more people review, cause this is so worth it! WAH! this is so good, write more!
