I'm glad to see that you haven't given up writing fanfics completely. I love your stories. When I read this one, my heart completely broke for Twister. The writing was truly poignant in many parts. My absolute favorite lines:

"It never rains here, but everything is washed away. My friends, my dreams. Maybe if there was a great rain, everything would be washed away. The deception, the loneliness, the pain--everything. If that was all washed away, maybe there would be room for the good things to sprout. Kindness, warmth, unshattered dreams--maybe they would find their way back into my heart and into my head."

I don't know why, but this fic struck a chord with me. It was really emotional, and I felt for Twister's plight. His shattered dreams, his dashed hopes, his loneliness. I loved the descriptions of the beach and Twister's connection to it. Excellent lyric choice. Overall, I completely loved it. It's definitely going on my favorites list! I really hope you decide to write more fics.

I like it... sort of dark narrative. That was horrible what Twister's parents did to him! Yet I like the note he wrote to them.

BTW: Yellowcard is banging!

There's no doubt that your writing is REALLY improving! ^.^ it was really awesome before but now it's pretty incredible. I love all the metaphors to life and people. I love metaphors even though i'm not very good at writing them myself :D but anyways, the emotions that you described Twister having with the life that he had was insanely believable.

It was obvious that this story was heartfelt.

Another very good story. It was a unique insight in to how Twister must be feeling given the circumstances. It's gotta be really ** him.

A very nicely written story. Although sad, it truly reflects what Twister is experiencing. It seems he's had a very difficult time in his life, and apparently he is learning the hard way how to control the pressure and troubles in his life.

This was a very good story as usual. I like it! Hope you can write more soon!
