Does Batman end up finding Richie in an alley or something?

WOW! I LOVED this story!... and again it's unfinished. Why oh Why do you torture me? Still I love the plot line and I consider it completely believable and all characters seem to not be out of character. that was an unnecessarily complicated sentance. I loved the little rest stop you had Richie go to. I liked the detail you added to the character of the store clerk. Just the way you described him made me think I would love to meet this guy, he seems like such an honest hard worker. I bet he'd be an awesome boss. Keep it up! 3

I like the letter-n-prose style :] I was wondering why Richie head to Gotham and was delighted when the story mentioned it. If anyone can help him, it's Batman. [Even if he doesn't want to drag him into it, I think he'd would be an invaluable ally.] If you ever update this again [which doesn't seem likely, but hey, a girl can dream], I'd be interested in hearing about what's going on with Virgil in Dakota...

So yeah. Great stuff. Love old guys with lightning-fast reflexes and Richie's skill with blow dryers and toilets :D

After reading almost all of your stories, I think that you're one of the better writers in the Static Shock fandom [of which there are too few]. However, I did catch this:

"Two years of fighting crime told him he could trust people about as far as Superman could throw them."

I'm guessing that Richie thinks you can't trust people very much. But Superman can throw people really really far, so if he was able to trust people as far as Supes can throw them, he'd trust them a lot. Which is the opposite of not trusting them.

Just sayin'.

I have been a fan of static since the first series of comics and still have them in my collection.

Just have a couple of sugestions for you ,When you have richie in gotham you could have him build himself a place in the sewers ie like the turtles lol and for money well he is a genius after all why not a computer help line .anyway keep up the good work l8ter man

I just hope he find Batman, eh? That would be so cool be cause he could live easier before he can go back to Vergil. Justice Leage's sound the best help for him, right now and it'd make your story funniner.

Wow. I don't normally read unfinished stories, but after reading some of your other work, I decided I liked your style and wanted to give Runaway a shot. It's great, and I am now miserable to find that it is unfinished. I love the plans you laid out for this story. Do you ever intend to finish it? If not, would you mind if someone else finished it? At any rate, this story is awesome!

You have me hooked. I love that this is the story of Richie, not Richie who is Virgil's sidekick. I know you haven't updated in a many a year but I can hope that maybe one day in the not-so-distant future, you'll decide to. This little gem has a lot of potential.

Wow. Really long chapter, I was not expecting that much thought and detail put into this story so close to the begining. Great way to hook readers. I enjoy your writing style, the way you've broken up the chapter into action and correspondence works really well. Hope you do plan on continuing this. Thanx for the story.
