HA! That was awesome. I'm still grinning at imagining it. I would pay to see that little scene. Yep.

Advice: the flashback about the coffee machine in the commissary would have been less confusing if you'd used the past perfect tense, which is proper when you're telling a story in the past tense, and then do a flashback, or reference something that happened even further in the past. You use the "had been" or "have been" verbs to do that. For example:

"Daniel was tired."

"Jack himself was starving."

"That's where he HAD found Daniel, slumped over, in front of the coffee machine."

"Jack HAD figured that his must be broken…again."

Thank you so much for this fantastic little story. The charcters were true to the show and completely endearing. It had me giggling for a full five minutes and cheered up an otherwise less than stellar day. :)
