Excellent. There should be more fics like this, that focus on trying to unravel the Yugi/Yami complex. I loved the very imagery-inducing words you used here, and the song was quite appropriate. I think you did a great job in leading up to the final conclusion as well--you explained everything well and it was all timed so perfectly that it fell into place without a hitch. Very nice piece.

I don't think I have any real words to say about this story, I could say it was beautiful. It would be true, but it's more than that. I simply can't describe what it is. I'm going to go back later, when it isn't past 3:30 in the morning and see if anything has changed. But I doubt it, but maybe when I'm not surrounded by a sad imitation of the dark Yugi spoke of, but instead a sad imitation of the light that he is. I'll be able to find some way to describe this story. For now I'll leave you to your writing.
