I LOVED IT! i have diligently read every david eddings book about garion- i found this to be so funny! i'm sharing it with my aunt, who caused me to begin reading these books

LOL! This is a great beginning. I liked the allusions to the other characters. It would have been fun, though, to set the Belgariad saga to music such that you begin with Garion's youth and then work in Ce'Nedra et. al. later when he finally does meet them. Ah, well, that was just an idea. Keep writing!
