I have to say that this was an amazing story--a commendable and imaginative spin on one of my favorite fairytales! kUDOS!

Damn... If I were her, I would definitely turn emo at this point in time. So emo.

As in suicidal, crying, slit-my-wrists kind of way.

I say this to man that, what she's being forced into, goes against everything in my character. Everything. I mean, Adrian's courtly life, and all the obediance and superficiality and "frilly language"... Now imagine the opposite of that. What you are now imagining is who I am, it's me, it's everything my soul is.

So that explains my very adverse reaction to this particular turn of events.

How old are Adrian and Elensar?

I believe that this is the best story on Seriously.

Elensar is TOTALLY kickass and yet she's not one of those super-common busty, I-can-kill-everyone-mwahahaha "heroines" (more like Mary-Sues-not-so-subtly-disguised). She's got her own personality which slowly shapes up as the story goes by.

She's pretty and clever, she loves to read and sew (even if I don't!) and dance. She has periods of hesitancy, she sometimes acts like a spoiled brat (but she's so cute when she does that!).

Similarly, for Evadne - she's not a complete villain, just enough to make you hate her. We know she's ambitious and that she's not particularly fond of Elensar and that she's a whore so we understand why she's so out-for-Elensar's-blood.

And Adrian is...HOT. Totally. And he and Elensar make such a SEXY, SUPER-HOT, MACHO-CUTE couple, don't you think? I LOVE Adrian and sometimes I wish I was Elensar - at other times, no, considering what she goes through everyday...

Well, that's why I love this. Love, lurf, call it what you will.
