Ack! I read this once but lost track of it for a while, and since then I've looked for this story dozens of times! And I finally found it again! One of the great Sam-whumping stories out there.

I so liked this! I loved the tension building as I read what Carter had been doing as she 'gated' from one place to another. Whew! And I wasn't even injured. It was a very good fic!

Enjoyable story. I always like a good Carter whumping story, and this was the ultimate whumping for her. The only thing I didn't really like was the first whumping on P4X-653. It was somewhat unrealistic and out of character for Teal'c. I love the rest of the story though with Carter's heroism and determination. I just think her original injury could have been done in a different way. Every other aspect of the story was great, it was well thought out, and very well written.

This story was incredible... Well crafted, authentic dialog and characterizations,heroic Sam. I loved it.

I am utterly appalled at Teal'c for not helping Sam after she had been beaten and whipped that it just about makes me want to throw up. I don't care what his reasons were, there was no excuse for him not helping her when she so desperately needed it. And then to try and excuse his lack to Daniel and Jack later is even more appalling. Neither Jack nor Daniel would have let her or Teal'c get away with that kind of behavior; not even Daniel in his desperation to please other cultures would have allowed Sam to suffer like that.

GAH! That was awesome. Seriously, I enjoyed it so much. I actually read it straight through over the course of the past two days, seriously neglecting schoolwork in the process. :P But I have no regrets!

This is my second time re-reading this story. I love it, it's a powerful team piece, and really shows the strength and commitment of a military woman working in the system with equality. Besides, I'm a total Carter-fan... so prejudiced to a story that shows her as a true hero.

This is one story that I can pick up and read again and again. I love how you wove Sam's struggles into the rest of them piecing together the what must have happened, not just to Sam but to the other personnel as well. :)

Absolutely stunning! I loved it! Strong plot, and characters! Love, love, loved it!

Amongst the best of the SG1 fics. Lovely long story with many great moments. Probably the best Carter centric fic I've come across. Really showed off her strengths and her determination. Please keep up the great work.

Great action story. Loved your use of "whumping" in Sam's report, rather reminiscent of the toungue-in-cheek descriptions from "The Very Secret Diaries". ;-D I also very much enjoyed your use of the phrases "E-ticket ride" and "A-ticket ride". Holy hannah, I didn't think there were that many old geezers around who remember what those even were! Thanks muchly for the childhood flashback! ;-) And this fick in general was most definitely a multiple E-ticket ride itself! Who ho! :-D :-D :-D
