Aww, that was wonderful! They're both so sweet and unsure. I liked it a lot and I think you wrote their personalities very nicely.

This was so beautiful and sweet. I was happy when they actually made an attempt at working out the problem, instead of ignoring it like they wanted to. It was just about perfect, I thought. I did notice however that although Jerome seemed just as enthusiastic about their encounter, his own need went unmet.
I wasn't sure if that was intentional or not. Or how far you meant for the extent of his paralysis to be; was he incapable of arousal and was simply excited for emotional reasons? Or did he just suddenly feel not in the mood? Or maybe you just didn't want to make it that graphic? Which is understandable, but it would have been nice if it had been explained better.
Whatever. I loved it. This is going in my favorites.

I'm going to have to agree with Chirolyn on this one. This is a beautifully written little narration. You managed to stick with one perspective (which doesn't often happen in slash fic), and you've captured V's and J's characters right out of the movie. I was particularly relieved that you didn't try to push Jerome's accent: I HATE it when Americans confuse a Cockney accent with an Oxford.
Anyway, like I said, I loved this fic. Thanks!

This was a beautiful behind the scenes look at both Vincent and Eugene. Having just finished the movie, I was hoping to find a well written slash fic for the two of them where the characters were in voice. Fics of that sort seem to be in short supply for this film. ^^

Anyways, I very much enjoyed your story! The enumeration of imperfections that somehow combine to make Eugene more perfect is a wonderful premise. Naturally romantic, just like our dear Jerome-Jude.

nice job, you kept the characters real and true to the movie; i can picture the sarcastic comments just like jerome would say them, and the tired, almost gentle eyes and habits that vincent possesses. sweet and beautiful in its own ways, truly an enjoyable read.

Wonderfully understated. You captured the Jerome sarcasm and poignant moments exactly the way the movie portrayed it, and it was *beautiful* writing, and I'm glad I read it.

And Vincent was done brilliantly - he notes Jerome's imperfections with merticulous care and he tucks him in carefully, he holds his tongue because in the end nothing matters more than the mission.
