WOW that was a god story. Took me until the end to get that this was in the Justice Lords Universe

This is a good thing. It took me until the very end to figure out *why* things seemed off (yes, I needed to read that they were the Lords to figure it out *slaps self*) and it took me even longer to figure out that Superman must have given Hawkgirl a heatvision lobotomy (the two burn marks), but...

*So* in character. Mid-transition from Justice League to Justice Lords, and just... Yeah. :)

I missed the JL episode. THE one to end all episodes, that spawned a thousand fics.
So I don't raelly understand all the referances. But I loved this all the same. I ike different POV's like Lois's
And I like how the marks are important.

You did a good job with the suspense, I was trying to figure why the Justice League just didn't feel... right when you hit me with the ending. It's great to read a fic that remembers that the Justice Lords /are/ twisted reflections of the Justice League and what it stands for. I know I haven't said this before, but you're one of my favourite authors.
