I found it interesting that we never saw any difficulties between 'Snuffles' and Crookshanks. Actually, I rather like that fact. It made the cat more likeable, and the dog more human.

Aha! So I wasn't that far off in my speculations about Lucius after all. Well, I can't fault that. Lucius -- especially as played by J.I. -- was delightfully evil and so smooth he made silk jealous and satin hateful.

How can one not love Hermione? She's the perfect 'smart' best friend, and reminds me somewhat of the sorts of girls I really enjoy hanging out with.

What *is* it about Draco that makes him so compelling? Is it the forbidden "bad guy" aspect? Is it the fact that he's assumed to be rather good looking? (Despite the fact that he's never described in all that flattering a way, and Tom Felton isn't exactly a knockout, either. Though, Jason Isaacs... but then, Lucius isn't the issue, is he?) Maybe we just really want to see redemption, or we can't help but wonder if all that angst between him and the heroic trio is masking something deeper. (The Harry/Draco romantic pairing is certainly popular enough, but thank heaven Ron/Draco has never really caught on. Hermione/Draco is rather less painful, and has a certain logic to it.) So, why Malfoy? The world may never know.
