Ok. I must admit, you definitely shattered my illusions. I could in no way fathom enjoying a slash involving Harry and Ron, however, I am capable of acknowledging I am wrong. It took me a long time to return to your page after The Soul Mate Series and give this story a shot. I thank you for asking us to give it a chance. I still can't believe you managed to work over 200,000 words into one summer. Its rare thing in HP Fanfic. Thanks for sharing this brilliant story.

This was a wonderful story. It's rare to find a story containing such heavy themes that's writing can still be subtle and believable. You did a good job conveying Harry's emotions and hesitance to accept that he was abused and I even found myself near tears in a few instances. Additionally, most ships tend to feel awkward and necessary, as if put there only for the authors pleasure, but you justified the relationship between Ron and Harry and accurately portrayed the reaction of others upon finding out. I had a small issue that Petunia was portrayed as a victim despite her participation in the neglect and occasional abuse of Harry. While I understand she was in a nonnegotiable situation with Vernon, such acts against children cannot be excused.

Keep up the good work, I can't wait for your sequel, The Heart of the Matter.

Like I said, I really LOVE this series! It's fabulous, Americanisms aside. But as for magic being better than Muggle medicine - somehow I don't think the Wizarding world would know about DNA, gene therapy, vaccines, cancer and all that crap. I think Muggle and wizard medicine is the same. :D

I've tried to read this fic all the way through...a couple times, but I always give up around here... Why?...

Because I can't stand all th ellipses...it makes everyone in the whole fic sound unsure...unsure of what they're saying...and also tired...like they're about to fall asleep...

I really enjoyed this story. Nicely written and in great depth of understanding the character's feelings and actions. The bonding between Harry and Ron and everyone else. Really wonderful. Thank you for taking your time and delivering a great story!
