It's no wonder Belle and the Prince(does the guy have a name, anyway? - As far as I know it never was mentioned, but it feels somehow wrong...)both felt overwhelmed with the changes. - It's good they talked about it, though...
And the Beast's decision to let his uncle continue to rule the castle was a wise one.
The traveling plans, now: THEY made me realy happy.

And yes, it looks as if they got their "Happily ever after". :)

Absolutely beautiful. I'm putting this story into my favorites. I really love what you've done with the split-second scene change in the movie, transforming it into an entire set of hidden scenes! I don't see a problem with the anachronism, because Belle said she'd never seen so many books in all her life. Now, that COULD mean (and was probably intended to mean) that her small-town library/book store had few books compared to a royal library, but in an Enchanted Castle, hey, why not have books that haven't been written yet? Well done. This fic is definitely worthy of the Disney Masterpiece it's based on.

I loved this story! I don't think I've ever imagined what would have happened to them post curse, but I like what you've written. I've decided that's exactly what happened since it's such a wonderful continuation.

I really liked the fact that the problems didn't just disappear because it was happily ever after. Well done.

I'm a HUGE fan of Disney's Beauty & the Beast...have been since the first time I saw the film back in Nov. 1991. It was the most incredible film I had ever seen, and I totally fell in love with it! It's my all-time favorite Disney film (and favorite film in general)! And the Broadway stage musical version is one of my fave Broadway shows ever. I've seen both the film and stage musical countless times over the years.
Anyway, a friend of mine told me about your BatB stories on the FanFiction website, so I knew I had to check them out. I just finished reading "Changes" (your one-shot about Belle and the Prince), and I absolutely LOVED it! I have to tell you, I love both the Beast *and* the Prince (I'm probably one of the few BatB fans on the planet who does), and I always wished the filmmakers had shown Belle with the Prince together more at the end of the film than just the all-too-brief scenes we did see. I always felt the Prince and Belle needed to be seen talking together about their feelings and all that had happened to them both...so that's why I really enjoyed your "Changes" story so much! I feel like your story could be animated and inserted seamlessly into the film (right after the scene where the Prince twirls Belle around on his bedroom balcony just after the breaking of the spell, and before the transition to the following scene in the ballroom where Belle and the Prince kiss and then dance).
Your "Changes" story is really well written, with both Belle and the Prince "in character". The story captures the moment between them that I always imagined might've occurred...it's how I always wanted to see them together, expressing their fears, hopes, dreams, and deep love for each other. And you, TrudiRose, accomplished it all in this one-shot fanfic!

That was beautiful. I'm currently working backstage on a production of BatB, but I've always wondered how Belle adjusted after the transformation. The best version of the tale I ever read is Robin McKinley's Rose Daughter. I strongly recommend it if you're a fan of BatB.
