Please keep going. Is Kel going to be the mistress that survives? She needs to stand out more. Maybe Tortall will start getting nervous when they hear about some devoted Mistress, named whatever name you gave Kel. Then she ends up betraying Maggot, opps I mean Maggur. LOL.

This looks good, although the 'relationship' that may be developig between Kel and the king sounds nasty. maybe you could swoop her into the queen's confidence instead and just have her do her duty next to the queen. But what ARE you gonna do to make her Queen?
