People think that Tifa would kill herself after waiting for Cloud so long, him coming and going. In this fic, though, Cloud is the one to end his own life for her. It's a sweet role reversal with a tragic but touching ending. I'm not a big fan of songfics, but you pulled it off well.

Okay, you used my editor's note so now I have to think of even more stuff to say! wah! Okay...I liked the use of the song tho I have never heard it before and I noticed that Cloud's letter sounded like "If You're Gone", that was a nice little link there.

Anyways, it was very sad, but I liked it and I am looking forward to a sequel! ;-D

Finnaly someone wrote a fic that doesn't have Tifa committing suicide! Please write a sequel!
