I love it! You could describe Lance's personality so well. I admit that I never watch Voltron before, just the third dimention series. And I really fall in love with Lance's personality so I try to look for the references. I never know the full names of all the Voltron's Force. I knew Sven and Romelle from the synops. But I figure that he and Lance were really close from your fic? Is that maybe because they have the similar past? Please write more. I found that so little stories about Lance in FFNet. Just about Keith and Allura.
