Wow, just finished reading this story and I just wanted to say that it is truly heartbreaking. I hate that it's left here, damnit.

i just read the chapter 'scintillation' and seriously, it put me in a depressing mood, i hope this story ends up with the m togethere (why didn't he ask her to marry him when she tried to break up him, all she wanted was for him to porpose to her, knowing lorelai's character, if he showed her the ring, she would have forgiven him and they would be married) good writing, but seriously, its really sad. i know any trully java junkie will get a tear going just reading this. you'll get good reviews through the roof if you get them back together.

I really enjoyed this chapter. It was sweet, and I liked how you tied in the purple kite to a few chapters before when young Rory said she wanted to be a purple bird when she grew up.
and I loved the first paragraph, about rural Connecticut. I live in Connecticut, and as I read that paragraph, I could just picture all of those times when I take rides through the rural parts of the state- it really is just like you described it.

Just read this and love it so much, you did a great job with it and hope that we get more soon

Interesting stories! I like the non-sequential nature of the thing (actually, I guess I'm not that linear because the timeline only confused me). I hope there are some happy times (even in flashback) for L&L though!

Having said that, I think this is a different and interesting take on the possibilities of the Luke/Lorelai relationship, and what their lack of communication skills could result in. It seems very realistic to me, the drifting apart. Sad-making, but well-written!

You know, you can really tell the mark of a good author when his/her work leaves a firm impression on your disposition. Despondent is a pretty safe word for how I feel at the moment. I hope you don't wait too long before your next update because these L&L chronicles are wonderfully written.

Oh Ruby, this was beautiful. It makes me want to go get my palm read and then come home and read this again and cry because it's fantastic. I love heartbroken, vulnerable Luke, and I how throughout this whole fic, they've disliked being together and hated being apart and still, nothing ever gets better.

You're so awesome.

This is fabulous. Beautiful, wrenching, so many good words. I particularly like this:

I don't know how I missed this! It's gorgeous and beautiful and makes me sniffly all at the same time. I love the time changes and the fact that Luke's had that ring for awhile (or at least that's the impression i got). Can't wait for the next part!

:Love: the way you work so many levels of emotion into their relationship so effortlessly. On the surface it's all sweetness and light, but there's also awakwardness and... somehow saddness, though I'm not yet sure where it comes from, because it's not just the Lorelai/Rory thing. Foresight, maybe?
In the last two chapters you've captured the beginnings of their relationship with a great honesty. And your Luke is the biggest sweetheart! * mushy adoration alert*
