I never saw the episode this is based on, but the story was very enjoyable anyway. I wasn't too confused to follow what was going on, and the insights at the end were well-worth the read. Thanks for a very good story! Becky

I really enjoyed this story. The dialogue was excellent, and your discriptions painted a clear picture in the mind. I particularly liked Sam's line:
"I'm not here because of guilt or because of fear. They just came here with me."
Very powerful.

If only there really were a Sam/Mac/Murdock episode for real...that would be the epitome.
