I think you've got me addicted. I started with this story, was forced to go back to the original, came back to re-read this story and then decided to trounce about your other written works. Needless to say, well done! I rather like the touch of both drama and humor that seem to weave a story like this perfectly together. You bring voices and personalities to characters that would otherwise have none. And you've convinced me that Dawn isn't the immature miscreant of the Buffy saga.

I very much adored the interaction between Jack and Dawn (namely her trying to hit him and it not exactly working out the way she had planned).

As well as her barely saving their necks by the skin of her teeth.

So yeah, wonderful chapter, and interaction with the characters. As well as the fact she wasn't just immediately helping him without a second thought. You've added moments and thoughts to the characters actions and reactions that helps develop them in ways you don't too often see in fanfiction. Huzzah! ^_^

Aw, I rather like Groves. I'm sure if he just got over being so terribly proper, Dawn would find him much more exciting. I definitely like the idea of Dawn/Groves better than Dawn/Jack...but then, the whole Buffy/Norrington thing seemed way out there, and you managed to convince me on that. So.

But I really, really like Groves. *puppy eyes*
