Really like this story. I like how you made Sarah feel like she doesn't have any parenting skills but have them come to life when she needed to be there for Sammy. Hope you will write a second chapter.

I am amazed by how much you fit into such a short piece. I absolutely love your characterization of Sara, and Sammy just broke my heart. Incredible response to the challenge.

*melts into a puddle of goo* First of all, the whole Damien thing cracked me up. And the way Sara dealt with the kid... very Sara. And the ending was just awesome, especially the way you just briefly touched on Grissom's reaction. Two thumbs up, as always.

I really liked this! What a great original character that little boy was. I loved how Sara's "parenting" skills developed, and Grissom's appearance at the end. Great response!

Aww... loved the way you switched from self depracating child fearing sara to something a helluva lot more serious. You do those ficlets so well, and every time I find myself frustrated they don't get to be fully explored, as they should... Oh, well - it's not too late now, is it? :P
