I could totally see Jazz do this.

Sam and Tucker didn't find out about Danny's powers becasue Tucker saw him fall through the floor - they were there! They were there when it happened.

Also, Danny didn't even stop to think "How'd Jazz know?" or anything.

You got a few problems here: After the Spectra incident, Danny doesn't know that Jazz knows about his powers. Also, your story about how he got his powers doesn't match the one from the actual show. And, though this is a touching moment with brother and sister, Jazz didn't destroy the portal in the show, so your whole story is off. If she did, the whole show would pretty much end. Also, Danny doesn't often share his feelings. He keeps everything bottled up, so this stuff about him telling her he was worried about losing her would not have happened. And, Jazz is almost never sarcastic or dark. She would probably try and diagnose why Danny is having nightmares or stumble on her words. She is not a great people person. I think overall, you got Danny's character some -what right. He does have nightmares. (Episode: Bitter Reunions, Season One) You should probably try to stay more true to the characters.

This was an excellent piece of work. The indentations were precise, the spelling perfect. You depicted Jazz and Danny's personalities that they were unmistakable. The only possible flaw I could see was in Jazz' reasoning, and Danny's not correcting her. At this point, Danny knew that not all the ghosts were coming from the portal, so while destroying it might have slowed the frequency of their appearance, it would not eliminate the threat, and Danny would still have enemies coming after him regardless. Many of those ghosts (the ectopusses, Skulker, the Old birds) were employed by Vlad Plasmius. Aside that, this was an excellent read.

This is just the sweetest DxJ sibling ever. Danny was so in character with his angsty responses and actions, it was wonderful. And Jazz, I think, when it concerned his welfare, I think she would've done something as drastic as that, you know, being the doting sister she is. Great job with the fic.

Wow. This fanfic is something special. It was really nice to read about these characters as more than just characters in a story, but as people who're dealing with tough situations that force them to make difficult decisions. The heart to heart between Danny and Jazz was touching - Jazz is definitely an underated character, especially in fanfiction. But I think I enjoyed this fic the most because it's a reminder that even people who seem to have it together and who're willing to go to great lengths to help others are not impervious to harm and have problems of their own.
