There are good fan fic stories. There are great fan fic stories. And then there are the stories that are so brilliant, one sits back in awe as one reads them. This story was written by a wordsmith with such skill that I certainly hope that she is a professional writer in the real world.

Certainly she captured and greatly expanded the character of Wesley. And made him her own. The plot was stimulating, and more importantly, unpredictable. I am willing to suspend logical plot progressions for any writer who writes with such skill that I am intrigued, and willing to go along for the ride, even if some of the plot is more akin to creative original plotting that Star Trek canon. And to be able to combine blazing disruptors, poisonings, murder, humor, prison breaks, rioting and romance all in one story, and do it with such literary flare, is a talent I do envy.

In short, this is a very entertaining, delightfully witty and superior form of fan fic writing. Well done, Merlin Missy.

I have been looking for a good Wesley Crusher story for a long time and I have no idea how I missed this one. It is wonderful.

This story was incredibly well written. I loved how everything was explained and how everything in the story had a specific purpose. You have a gift for writing.

I have to admit that I understand it a lot better after reading it for the second time and was jumping for joy when I happened upon it here on

This was a beautifully thought out, intriguing, and thoughtful story. Your characters (new and established both) were well developed, likable, and I couldn't help but root for every one of them. I loved how everything came together in the end, and was glad to see that everyone had managed to fulfill their own paths in life.

SOO GOOD! Gosh, I have no clue why this story has so few reviews! It just snatches your mind and forces you to read it through. I couldn't even "peek" at the ending because I didn't want to stop reading long enough to do so! A! fav!

Very sweet chapter. You’ve captured their emotions and situation with perfect skill, and I was truly inspired by you. I loved what you did with the prisoners, the way you described the ‘dam’ breaking between them. This crazy woman provides intriguing possibilities, and I can’t wait to see what you’ll do with her.

Has anyone ever told you that you’re a jewel among writers? I haven’t discovered such a fantastically written piece in a long time. You’re style is fluent, you’re descriptions and plot masterful. I was almost literally hanging on your ever word, and I think your story is more addictive than anything I’ve ever come across.

This was truly an outstanding piece. You’ve a marked sense of humor, and that humor was seamlessly integrated into your story. I loved your character descriptions, and I loved your unique perspectives.

I do have one question, though. Who is Robin? Is she a character that you’ve made up, or did she actually appear in the show? I didn’t see even a quarter of the next gen episodes, so I’m not really certain. For all I know, you’ve made her up yourself and are simply revealing a little information about her at a time.

Ah, well. I’m enjoying this piece so much that I don’t really care if she was a ‘real’ person or not. On to the next chapter!
