Hmm...I rather like the part from the POV of Harry; however, I think perhaps Snape's POV could be shortened a little: maybe as an introduction and then after Harry leaves? I do feel that you got Harry's character well; I especially like this part, "The memory of my godfather saying in a jumble of nervous words that he would like to take up his role once more makes me choke on a smile." This line could go into one of the next two books, honestly. Anyway, you seem to like the darkness in people, which is natural in Snape's case and surprisingly well-written in Harry's. Nicely done.
