I was a little surprised that Batman phrased "Operation Kick **," and the reader never really finds out who Peverell Brisco is, but that all comes second to the fact that hooray! Bruce got his son back and Dick makes up with his dad. When Nightwing was switching his communicator on and off, I honestly thought he *was* doing it to be annoying, or that he really was in the middle of a mugging or something. Would Bruce have done anything if Oracle continued to refer to Nightwing solely as Nightwing, and not Dick? I loved how you played with their dualities, especially when Batman took off his cowl and spoke to Nightwing as Bruce. Though, woah! Major risk, especially with taking off Nightwing's as well. The nasal spray was an ingenious comedic touch. A rather pathetic attempt at taking care of himself, but probably more than Batman does when he's really on a roll. But wow. Really. The dialogue between everyone was excellently done, with both information and tone in character. This is a great fic. Great job! ~Michelle |
