Beautifully written, with such a smooth flow too. I'm particularly fond of the 'smirking deprecatingly at herself in the mirror' line, and the entire paragraph about the boys ang girls of college was great.

I really enjoyed this little ficlet. The imagery of Tara's thoughts, feelings and life as a group of necklaces that need careful attention to fully unravel is one that I would never have personally considered, but that works somehow. I've read several pre-Hush 'fics for Tara, and despite this one's short length, I think I would rank it among the best I've seen. Understatement, as Tara herself could attest, is sometimes the best way to convey your meaning.
