Loved it! Incredibly touching. Marcus has always been my favorite; I could TOTALLY relate to the entire backstory with Christine. (Hits Favorites box)

What a great story. This added so much depth to Marcus's background--so much more than To Dream in the City of Sorrows. I always felt that book was too dry & in many places didn't even seem like Marcus. Not only did this seem entirely like Marcus, it managed to explain so many things about his actions in that book and on the show! I'm impressed--and grateful. Thanks!

I just finished your story entirely. And now...where is the sequel? This is just so promising. The glances, the comments. You wrote them both very well. They are a bit soft, but it's allright.
And the background story was really good, too.

YEs, it HAD been only ten years since she'd moved to mars and met Ben, but you have to remember:

1: They met as children

2: He was trying to hurt her as much as he could so he said twenty since he'd known her that long. It was never very nice when she was around before she left either really, he'd always been more in love with her than she was with him.

I just read your story. Up to now I really liked it!
But I just came across with a mistake.
In the second last paragraph you have Mrcus say: "I’m sorry to hear that but it’s about 20 years too late"

If they broke up when Marcus was about 18 years old, it simply cannot be 20 years later in 2261.
It's more or less 10 years, isn't it?

But nevertheless, I'm going on to read the reast of it right now.

Really nice. Very clever use of italics to show what was past and what was now. Nicely woven threads. I liked it. Plus it had Marcus.

That was a really wonderful story. I really loved the way you blended the past and present together. I love the way your characters really seem like they do in the series, you have a real talent for it. I hope you might write a sequel to this... Some nice fwuffy I&M stuff... Pwease?
