LeFou has his own story! This is amazing! I've grown attatched to the guy, as I actually played him for our school production. I figured he would have lived, you know, a better life once he was out of Gaston's abuse. I'll have to read the rest of this.

I knew he'd come back, but I wasn't sure I'd like that. Turns out I was wrong on the second count. Well done.

This is a really good fic. I especially liked the fact that you didn't try to make the characters act in a modern type way and you acknowledged the fact that the beast was a prince, and the villagers actions have consequences. I really thought your characterisation of Le Fou was excellent. keep up the good work.

A little bit of country? Danvers had a more than passing resemblance to an old fashioned Western town.

Seriously though, you have a knack of describing people without needing to elaborate, which is really good.

Everyone seems to have got an even handed treatment,and it's nice to have happy endings for the "villains" and "sidekicks".Hopefully Disney will pick up the hint and start making well rounded stories like these soon.

I realize that this review is terribly terribly late, but this is an excellent story. I always had doubts about whether or not Gaston would die, and i like the way you handled it. I also love your characterization of LeFou. And i have to say, i almost fell on the floor laughing at "Prince Furball". Hehehe.

A wonderful story. You often forget about the lesser characters in the story. YOu did a good job of telling what might have happened. I enjoyed it very much. Write more like it!!

A story about Lefou! You really made my day with this one. The fact that you even made me see something good in Gaston, of all people, is pretty awe-inspiring. Your portrait of Lefou is what's most remarcable though - he's still recognizable from the movie canon, and much more three dimensional. :)

I am a huge nerd, but I've just re-read this story and had to review again - it is definitely the best B&B fic I've read (and I've read most of them on this site). Very very very good job, Prince Furball remains the funniest nick for the Beast, ever.

Oh, wow. I positively *love* this story. It's nothing less than wonderful. You make LeFou such a sympathetic character, I love how you put us into his head and make him real. I also adore that you let Gaston live - I think killing him off in the movie was a bit unnecessary. And I just love your portrayal of the Prince and his household and his style of rule.. of course everything's not perfect in the end, Belle and her Prince are still going to have issues. And you really did well with Gaston's character - really. He is still the awfully arrogant brat we knew in the film, but he's become a lot more, and he's better for it. I just.. gosh, I love everything about this story. It's really funny, charming, sweet, engaging, fascinating, beautiful. The scenes between Gaston and Christophe, Gaston and Belle - I just love the way you scripted them. Ah.. it's just all really, really good.

This was such a satisfying story! You took the time to develop the characters, who turned out fantastically satisfying. I really do hope you plan on a sequel--I'd like to know more about Emeline, and see more interaction between the characters--they're too real to want to see laid down for good! Even if you don't, however, this is a great story, and I will probably read it several more times in the future!
