shaithis1 2008-01-31 ch 7,	abuseNot quite as good as some of Slayer's other stories, but about on par anyway. The story isn't bad even if you could predict who the demon was as soon as Mana showed up (good job digging her out of the dust bin of Eva canon, btw). Writing style still needs to come a ways, it still seems a little high-schoolish. Don't really like the ending in chapter 6. It comes off too much like the end of a Scooby Doo episode where "hyjinks ensue and everyone laughs". After reading a few of Slayer's other works too, it seems like its a habit for him too. I also can't understand why the story seems to end in chapter 6 but then a completely NEW story begins in 7. Next time just split them into two separate stories, it makes more sense.
Zoro50 2007-11-08 ch 18,	abuseAlright this was a much better story than "The Race", # 1 being i've always like Mana Kirishima as a character. But beyond that, none of the characters ever came off as a really uber. Sayoko took just as many licks as Mana did and even cold-cocked her in the 2nd to last chapter (grin). Each character had a decent amount of face time and some good character development as well (mostly Mana, but thats to be expected eh?). Good work with this one.

One HISTORICALLY TRUE anecdote that just HAS to get mentioned in one of these stories sometime: In the middle ages, a monastery in Germany was in the habit of brewing beer as fortification during Lenten fasts. The abbot was concerned about the ethics of his monks drinking large quantities of homemade lager, so he sent some kegs to the Vatican to ask for a ruling on the subject from the Cardinals. The Cardinals were all Italian aristocrats and wine connesieurs, so they found the beer absolutely disgusting and ruled that forcing oneself to drink it was a valid method of doing penance for one's sins. The monastery in question is now a brewery. Now, imagine Misato's reaction when she finds out that there is a church ruling stating that beer is holy, and then imagine Sayoko's reaction when she finds out that Misato found out.

watchdog210 2004-12-16 ch 18,	abuseSLAYER, I have been reading for the past two and a half weeks when I get the chance. I started with the NG Trilogy and have been going ever since. Rare is the fanfiction that so grabs me that I think about it when I'm away. I have just been completely drawn in to the world you have created. I love the way the charcters have grown and evolved into what they are today. Many fanfic writers can write true to the charcters they use. You have used the Goddess for example, as a jumping off point. Then you have taken them beyond what they have been. You've gone to the next level. BRAVO. Only one other author, DARKWIND, has done this. I decided to withhold my review till I reached the end, and I have not been disapointed. The only titles I have read are OMG and Evangelion, but the way you seamlessly melded everything toghether, I did'nt have to. Everything made sense. I truly hope you continue this universe you have created. I would hate to see something this good come to an end. The only question I have for you is, have you thought of reposting all the stories in the order they take plase. I found this just a little confusing. I also have a story to post as soon as proofreading and corrections are complete. Hopefuly just after the first of the year. I can only hope to be half as good as you are, and would like it verry much if you reviewed it when I get it up. It is also an OMG story. Keep up the good work. Later, watcgdog210.
Marcos Edson 2004-12-10 ch 18,	abuseAgain, you closed another story arc well... ^_^ Chapter 17 was quite sad but 18 really made things warm again! Some things were unexpected, like Mana also having the Soultaker's power, I was under the impression only Kristine (the original Soultaker) could do that and Mana's father either was instructed by her or somehow learned it by himself, never considered Mana could get it by heritage... It's also a shame she could not find her mother, I thought her soul might just be imprisoned somewhere... :( Anyway, Sayoko's kids had the show in this last few chapters, I'd love to see them again in the future... ^_^
