I think this is the third time I am reading this story. I have to say that I absolutely love this series. I have also read your long sentinel stories, loved them too.
So I am going to ask you to please continue writing, I have been waiting for another story in this series for a long time.

This is, by far, one of my most favorite of Severitus (or whatever it's called - I've heard so many terms for it but whichever). It really shows Severus with a heart underneath all the bitterness and resentment (not that he's not entitled to it but whichever).

Well written, there were plenty of parts where my heart ached for little Harry, and Severus' fear of his lack of love for his child. I do believe I teared up at one point, but blasted if I can remember which one - there were plenty that just caused my heart to ache, that delightful pang that says it's been touched by something emotionally strong and healthy and lovely.

I immensely enjoyed reading this. It was heartwarming without being schmaltzy and certain parts made my chest tighten. A good story should have the power to affect its readers in different ways, and this is definitely a good one.

I like your style of writing. The pacing was good, and the touches of humour worked magnificently, helping to lighten some of the heavier narrative elements, such as the child abuse. I chuckled quite a few times whilst reading.

I really like your characterisation of Snape too. You did a good job with his inner voice, and his outer voice too, of course. You did Albus justice too, (his soft manipulations were spot on) and little Harry's reactions were also believable.

I particularly enjoyed Snape's run in with Lucuis. I liked the short and to the point dialogue, and the scene immediately following it. The way you worked in the story's title into a pivotal and highly emotional end scene is also admirable.

Well, I just read you fic and all I can say its that i simply loved it. Especially how you managed to make Harry so innocent and Snape so in character (but still being a caring father)

I think that this was a cute story...though I am surprised that Snape didn't Obliviate the teacher.
