aw...kakashis a little too ** himself. but then again he is the single angstiest character in the whole anime, so i guess thats what his reaction would be, to beat himself up. great job, which is pretty much becoming the usual for you! ^_^

Amazing. Simply amazing. This fic was wonderfully raw, and hurtful, and angsty, and just amazingly in character.

I've always loved Kakashi and Sasuke's relationship and you seemed to have grasped that perfectly. I especially loved the one line:

"What you secretly hate about yourself is how stupid you are now—how you haven’t changed a bit."

That really just hit me. I just..ugh! Can't find any words here!

Nonetheless, it is a wonderful story, and I will definitely read this over and over again. Great job!

I like this. I also read Laundry on your LJ, and I really enjoy your nonchalant style of writing. You seem to write the thoughts and sentences down as they come to you and it's really natural. In both fics, I love your sarcasm and how you project it on Kakashi ever so appropriately.
Also, I like it when people just admit Sasuke's an immature dumb brat and not half as perfect as most fangirls say he is. I've been in a kiddy nuthouse and I knew a real life Sasuke.
Anyways, keep up the great work!

I find that a lot of your writing has this edge to it, a self-mocking sort of grit. I think this fits perfectly with Kakashi's personality: the way he thinks, the way he lives. I love how the title fits so well with the piece, how it initially draws you in but then serves as a conclusion as well.

Powerful and well considered. The use of the 2nd person here works, which is rare. Nicely done - a well-crafted look at a moment of helplessness for a character who is never without recourse. You've kept it in character yet expanded it into something bigger, more complete. Nicely done.

Very much enjoyed this, as I'm enjoying all of your fics. It is an interesting question though - what does Kakashi think? How would he react to the one student he saw himself in, saw possibly his own hope in, turn his back on the small piece of advice he ever offered anyone? I mean, Kakashi definitely saw potential in all of his students, knew they would all blow everybody away as soon as they got over their "childish" issues, but it was Sasuke that he focused on. Saw him flirt with and touch the dark, unable to do anything but watch.. and when he does finally attempt to do something, it's too late. But then, maybe it was always too late.
