I've been totally in love with stories but rarely enough to get up alertly before. How do I love this story ... let me count the ways! 1. the brilliant characters 2. the psychological aspects 3. the relationships 4 the slow development 5 the way that you aren't just making everything better with the wave of a wand ... erm keyboard pen? .writing thingy. 6. the shopping and the shy creed 7.. The use of quotes and hypervaly. grins rather stupidly. 8.. well the list could keep going but I'd like to sneak in another chapter or 2 thank you so very much. Fancyspinner
Xiana Asuka 2007-11-02 ch 72,	abuseZOMG. Love this story. There's actually a coherent plot, and the fic doesn't rely too heavily on original characters or romantic-al-ness. And seriously, with all of Creed's media references, you must be a walking pop culture dictionary. Or at least really good at finding the right quotes at the right time. Speaking of which, back in the chapter where he was flying away with train, he used the whole "not flying, falling with style" thing. And earlier that day, I had been thinking, "Hmm, I wonder if Creed's ever going to use wings like Eve, and if he would use that quote..." And he did. Wow. You read my mind a few months before I even thought of that in the first place. Now that's talent. The only thing I noticed was that it seems to get a little repetitive from time to time. I'm sure that has something to do with the fact that you often update several chapters at a time with a certain amount of time between updates, but it feels as if you repeat some of the same information about Creed's mental state, like the fact that he can never be truly fixed and all that, a bit often. Though I'm fairly sure it wouldn't be as noticeable if I hadn't been reading this straight through for the last week or so. . . ^-^; Probably trying to keep reminding us lame-o fangirls that Train and Creed can't just end up together that easy. I see how you roll :( But it does seem as if Train is finally starting to feel a bit more affection for him? And maybe it seems a bit strange to me that Tse Rao and Xiao Li would be falling in love with him as well, but I guess you don't choose who you love. Still, it just wouldn't work out. He can only be with Train XD Though in the end, that probably wouldn't work out too well either. Because if they ever really fought, I'm assuming Creed is still in a weak enough mental state that he might actually try and kill himself again or something, if it was that intense. And Train is so immature sometimes that things like that would happen. Hoping for future character development so that they can be together in the way that they were meant to be. And it seems like something bad is going to happen soon in the plot, since nothing TERRIBLE has happened for a while... And bad stuff leads to character growth, ne? Xiana Asuka 2007-10-30 ch 17,	abuseHi! I've been really into Black Cat lately, and while browsing through the archives, I came across this fic. I'm really glad that I started reading it, because your characterizations are almost perfectly spot on, and the plot is fantastic! Creed is just too cute of a character, and in this fic he's like, whoa. And he totally is in love with Train, it's just so canon. ^-^ De-insane-ifying him is the best idea ever. Anyway, I really like your writing style, especially with the dialogue. It's in character, and it's funny without bordering on the sort of crack aspect that most crazy writers focus on. Crazy. And while I love the pairing-ness, I'm glad that the whole romance aspect is going sort of slow. Giving Train the time to realize that they're meant to be together. :] Finally, you should know that I'm only reviewing now (I was going to review as soon as I caught up; 72 chapters, wow) because of the whole monty python reference in this chapter. Mini Nephthys 2007-10-24 ch 72,	abuseThis. This is, without a doubt, one of the best fanfics I have EVER read. The plot is well thought-out. The characters are wonderfully in character. The humor makes me laugh out loud. And above all, fluffy!Creed is the most adorable thing ever. I await the next chapter with feverish anticipation!
