I miss this series, and I really appreciated this trip back to the run that actually got me into the X-Men in comics... Such an awesome arc, and you've done a wonderful job in capturing the feel of it in a lovely intermission.

Awesome. I like how you're doing this story. I'm a huge fan of the Logan/Rogue relationship and am glad to see you addressing it in your story. He's like her mentor. He allows her to do her own things and they respect each other, but he tries to keep her grounded at the same time.

Destiny's note to Logan is rather contradictory, she writes: "...I already know the end result of your efforts", but then she writes "if that's the case, then there are a plethora of possible futures...which means that the decisions you make today will shape tomorrow." Is she simply trying to make them feel better, or is she really unsure of the probability of her predictions?

spiffy stuff. i always like stuff about fate vs. free will, it's SO intriguing... but yeah. great fic.
