It's good! ^^ I was a little nervous when you mentioned OCs, but you just mean minor characters right? They need to make FF manga or something, so I always look for novelizations. Are you gonna do X-2?

I really like this one, there's like alot of these, but I read yours first because it was at the top of the list, and becuase it had the most chapters/reviews. XD LOL I'm rambling.

This is far and away the best FF fanfiction I have ever read. o.O Of course, I'm bound to be a little biased; it doesn't hurt that FFX is my favorite game out of the entire series. ^_^

You have all my best memories of this game intact and the dialogue is perfect in tone and mood, even when it's not exactly right. The changes and additions all make sense, and the narrative really flows well. :)

I can't wait to see the rest! Please don't ever give up on this awesome, awesome story!

Another great chapter! I like the way you described Wakka's reaction to Mika. It would have been really funny if he had fallen in face-down supplication. I love a good groveling scene! I agree with you about having Yuna steal a staff. There was no way that she could have smuggled one on her person. Body orifices have their limits afterall.

I have been following your fic for some time, and I love the way it is going. I really like your writing syle. If this game were 'novelized' I believe it would be just like this!

On the Lulu sliding issue, , during the FMV,if you have fast eyes, you can see Kimahri carrying Lulu as he slides down the cable. I was plagued by the issue as well for quite awhile, so I recorded the scene on my dvd recorder and watched it a couple hundred times... which says a lot about my social life...

anyway, great job on the fic! I'm off to read the next chapter!

Lol. Yuna stealing the staff WAS more entertaining.

As I've said many times before, these are among my favorite scenes of the game - and you've captured them perfectly. Yuna's exclamation that she can fly and her own fall always make me giddy with excitement, because she seems so totally at peace and sure of herself at that moment.

Finally, we're getting to see Yevon's true colors. I can't wait for the encounter with Bahamut and more machina from the priests. I wonder how you'll do the Cloisters? In addition to being one of my favorite parts of the game, the Cloisters in Bevelle are THE WORST. I was so clueless the first time I did it (Sorry for making constant reference to my playing through the game... I beat it about seven times :O).

Aha... I liked the changes you made, but Mika presiding over the wedding was interesting in the first place.

Actually in the FMV Lulu is being caried on Kimahri's shoulder! I agree though with your reasoning on the Evrae battle and looking forward to the next chapter.

Ah, the Evrae battle was one of my favorites. It was quite fun, but you did alright by cutting it short. It is more realistic that way.

Heheh. Silly mistake. If gravity disappeared, they'd all be floating away. Gravity is the force that makes you FALL =D

Anyway, great chapter - it's one of the most exciting parts of the game and you did it justice. Cant wait for the next one! And Happy Holidays!

One thing I think you should address in the Via Purifico is the fact that they still had their weapons. If people want you to die getting killed by fiends, then they won't give you a way to defend yourself.

Awesome novelization! This is actually the first FFX one that's actually kept my interest. It has enough details and information to be interesting, but not so much as to be tedious and slow, which is what I always seemed to encounter in previous novelizations I've tried to read. So great job with that! :)

Up next, the battle with Evrae (possibly one of the more infuriating battles in the game. Looking forward to seeing how you write about it), followed by the awesome wedding-crash entrance. :D

ah, nevermind about the gatta/luzzu thing. i've played that game so many times and i've done everything...and yet i had NO idea that you choose which one dies. how insane!! i feel ignorant haha! but anyways...yeah, good choice. it does make a lot of sense between wakka and luzzu, the losing of a "little brother."

yuna's lineage is brought up in front of wakka for the first time (i think) in this chapter. you may want to mention him in passing having a reaction to cid referring to yuna as his "little niece." it's nice to see someone who is writing so well despite the time it may take, and not rushing through it just to get done. well done :)
