I spent most of this chapter laughing at how you made Snape seem so much like an over-protective father and yet very much still the character portrayed in the books. Very enjoyable read so far!

"He's a bit scary," Neville agreed in a small voice.

"He just looks that way," Harry assured him. "He gets a scary face sometimes, but he's not really. Not with me cos I'm his boy and he loves me."

I really love your story. This story is heart-wrenching. The fragile Harry seems so real and insecure. I felt bad for him but after Snape rescued him, I felt glad.

I thought I should tell you that this is the fifth time i've read this story (in the last year). There are parts of this story that show great emotive writing and I thoroughly enjoy them. Thank you for writing this.

After reading "Mine", and now reading "Snape's Vocation", I cannot tell you how many times I have just gone, "Awwwee...awwwe...AWWW!" This story is just WAY too cute, Snape's fatherly instinct coming in, Harry bring too adorable as a little magical child. As I am only on chapter 6, I do hope that Snape somehow forgives Lupin in a way, but time to keep reading and see! :)
