fantastic fic, and the omake was HILARIOUS! meh. all i have to say at the moment. i'd better go and actually study now, like i was supposed to be doing for the past hour and a half. pesk fanfic authoress! -glares-

I usually just like to lurk, but I had to review because this story is one of the best Kenshin fanfics I've ever read! Well thought out, plot excellent, dialogue excellent, characterizations excellent (your Kenshin is really true to my perception of him), action well balanced with introspection, and lovely lovely hurt/comfort that I've been dying to read for a long, long time but have not been able to find. Please keep writing, and even more than that, please keep writing Kenshin! Keep the fandom alive! Yay!

What an awesome story! And I'm so glad that it's completed. I can't tell you how many times I've gotten into a really good fic and then I find out that it hasn't been updated in 2 years. So. Depressing.

I really love your writing style, and the descriptions too. Your plot was very well developed (definately a lot better than something I could come up with) and I could totally imagine this being a movie. Character-wise, there was no OOC-ness that I noticed, and your OCs were also believable characters. The Princess Bride moments at the end of the chapters were also funny. ^_^

Thanks for posting this great story! And I hope that you haven't given up on "Snowblind" cause I'm looking forward to how that story turns out. :)

Admittedly, I'm rather bad at leaving reviews. I don't do it that often because normally all I have to say is "good job" or "that was great" and I think most authors are used to hearing that enough...

But...

OH. MY. GOD. I am not kidding. I sat up for six hours last night reading this entire fiction from beginning to end. I couldn't let it go.

This is by far the best Kenshin fic that I've read. I have been fangirling this story all day. I am in love with your writing style, not to mention your way of telling the story to begin with. It is very obvious that you took a lot of time doing research on the various cultural elements of Meiji Japan. Your action scenes (while you admit to have stressed over them) were superb. I can TELL that you stressed over them because they worked wonderfully.

I guess... I really don't know what to say... but I wanted to say more than just "good job, awesome fic" because... well... that doesn't really cover it.

This is going on my list of fanfictions that are so good that I literally cannot read any other fictions for at least a week or two simply because no others will measure up until it's out of my system.

Alright, I'll stop gushing now. But thank you so much for writing this story so that we could all enjoy it.
