I don't do it that often because normally all I have to say is "good job" or "that was great" and I think most authors are used to hearing that enough... But... OH. MY. GOD. I am not kidding. I sat up for six hours last night reading this entire fiction from beginning to end. I couldn't let it go. This is by far the best Kenshin fic that I've read. I have been fangirling this story all day. I am in love with your writing style, not to mention your way of telling the story to begin with. It is very obvious that you took a lot of time doing research on the various cultural elements of Meiji Japan. Your action scenes (while you admit to have stressed over them) were superb. I can TELL that you stressed over them because they worked wonderfully. I guess... I really don't know what to say... but I wanted to say more than just "good job, awesome fic" because... well... that doesn't really cover it. This is going on my list of fanfictions that are so good that I literally cannot read any other fictions for at least a week or two simply because no others will measure up until it's out of my system. ... Alright, I'll stop gushing now. But thank you so much for writing this story so that we could all enjoy it. *runs off to hide under rock now* |
