Nice fic, and I must say quite an original idea. Is this a sequel though? or a step in a series? by reading the first chapter I feel like I've missed something. Like the relationship between Bruce and Clark?

Great storytelling, good characterizations (especially Clark and Chloe), and I am in LOVE with your Alfred. Oh my. He deserves a sequel as a star all his own. The corporate intrigue was believable, though I know less about high finance than Clark knows about biochemistry, so couldn't be an expert judge there. But Oliver's dedication and temperament both rang true, as did his willingness to risk it all rather than ever play second fiddle. (The Green Arrow comics today, like the glory days of "Across America," are the best in the current field, IMHO.) Two minor nitpicks: digital cameras don't HAVE film -- that's the whole point of electronic photography. And Metropolis is established as AT LEAST 300, more like 400, klicks from Smallville -- not even Lex would be driving that twice in one day. (Although they seemed to screw that with idea that you could see Metrolpolis from Smallville on top of ANYTHING. You can't see a hundred klicks from the top of the Vehicle Assembly Building. And once they put both mountains and a port in "Kansas," all bets were off...) I am struck, once again, at how STUPID characters sound when they're all keeping secrets "to protect each other." A little coordination would have saved everybody a lot of trouble. Are people in real life ever that ridiculous? If so, no wonder we don't have any superheroes willing to show themselves to protect the planet from the likes of the Bush family...

Good story although I was a bit disappointed that Ollie never got to show off his archery skills beyond the recreational level (which is probably a shortcoming in me rather than your story). Also glad that Oliver reached the sensible solution business-wise (I figured that was what he would do just before you had him do it). Surprised you never stressed the parallels (or if you did I forgot it) between Ollie and Lex's desert island stays, or Oliver's disappearance from Dinah's life and Clark's disappearance from Lana's life between seasons 2 and 3.
Really liked Chloe's "historical self-gratification" line in chapter 13 (it echoed what I, as a reader, was thinking). Also, as I've said in previous reviews, I really liked your handling of Alfred.

This story was really great could you please write more Smalliville story like this one.
