Very angsty, so I guess nice work. I like the way you didn't put things they said into quotation marks or italics. It's a nice idea, and I might even try it some time. Good theme, runs all the way through. I found it a bit confusing in the middle (maybe because I didn't read it all in one go) about why she broke up with him and stuff, but oh well. It's still good.

I reviewed this somewhere else, I know...maybe on LJ? But I had to tell you here how I felt, because this is hands down the most beautiful piece of L/L work I've ever read. So brilliantly executed, simple, yet layered, it doesn't tug, it _wrenches_ at my heart. Fantastic job.

Wow! Great story. I like that you can bring the angst but make it all come out better. And not magically, but because they really both want it and are willing to try. Sigh. You've got a really interesting writing style, too. I enjoy reading it!

This fic is amazing, is one of the best L/L fics (let alone one-shots) that is out there. I read it at lj.com and it was amazing then and is amazing now. Heartbreaking and happy and beautiful, all together.

Granted, I probably read too much JavaJunkie angst for my own good, but I think this is probably only the second story that made actual tears pop out. I've always been a huge fan of your work, but wow, wow, wow. Sad and happy and romantic, just the way the best JJ stories are. Awesome.
