Sometimes you can come across a fic that, while not happy, moves you to the point that you love it. This is one of those fics. I'm an avid K/K fan, but even I can appreciate a well done piece exploring either of them and the reasons why they didn't get together.

I think you hit Kagura's thoughts quite well. You didn't sugar-coat the harsher parts of her feelings for him, but you didn't dramatize them either. They were stated much as I think Kagura would think of them: as facts that aren't good or bad, but just the way things are. Quite a great job for a little while of work!

Well, that just shows how well written this was. Great job. Right now, I'm not so sure about how I feel with the KaguraKyo pairing. Some of the times I like it, but most of the time I just can't stand it. It may be because I already have an original character that I have paired with Kyo in my head, but I dunno.

Anyway, this was well done. I agree that Kagura may be a little more dramatic, but I still believe that this is very accurate. Keep up the good work, and thank you for sharing your talents.
