I discovered this story a few days ago and you had me hooked. Your writing style is brilliant and all the characters seem so real and the story line is fantastic. I love your OC and I love Jack and Miranda's relationship. I am so disappointed you left the story at such a crucial point. I know it’s a long shot, as you haven’t updated in a very long time, but please continue, this is such a brilliant story and me, and many others below, would love you to finish it. Wow, I found this story and got completely hooked a while ago. For some weird reason it only just occured to me to review... Sorry :)
But, anyways, this has got to be one of the best stories I've read, it's so great to find a Jack/OC romance that actually makes sense and keeps him in character, not to mention that Miranda actually comes across as a human being with good points and bad points like everybody else. I'm gutted you haven't finished it though, yours is the kind of story that keeps me reading pirates fanfics, I love it!

I only discovered this story on Friday evening, and I have sat and read it in just two sessions - it is wonderful.

It has made me laugh out loud at times, because the characters are so real, and at times had me holding my breath because the story was riveting.

Please where is the rest of the story? I have got to chapter 35 and cannot find the rest, did you ever finish it?

Have you had any works published? Please let me know , as I would certainly buy them.

Even if you did give up on this story, thank you for taking the time and effort to put it on line it has been a joy to read.

Well I realize you have not updated this story in quite a long time, but I just found it via the Written Arts forum (not sure if it is still active - I'm not a member there) and a link to this story on .

I must say I started reading and just could not stop - you have constructed a wonderful tale! Your Jack is quite in character I think and even your OCs are delightfully not over the top as in some stories. I truly hope that you have not abandoned this story and plan on continuing it. Real life has a way of intruding upon our escapes but this is one that I hope you find your way back to!

I do believe you have yourself a new reader and commentor if you do decide to continue and I sincerely hope you do, because now you've got me intrigued as to just what that ring does say! And just how Jack is going to get out of this w/himself, ship/crew, and Miranda unscathed...as far as bodily harm goes that is. As far as the relationship between Jack and Miranda - well, you have truly caught that beginning part of any relationship I believe, both of them feeling something towards the other but still afraid to openly share with the other person due to fear of rejection. Funny how others can see though irregardless - LOL. Speaking of which - Love AnaMaria!

OH.MY.GOD. I have read this story over and over again, and it just keeps getting better and better. The only problem is the time between updates! You're killing me! I have checked back on this story almost everyday for nearly a year, and still no updates! Like a previous person said, please at least let us know what you intend for this story. Will you eventually finish it? Or should we all just abandon hope? Please don't give up on the best POTC fic here! (I have now used up my daily allowance of exclamation points)

This is a really good story, but, oh no! It hasn't been updated for a while!

Please, please, please update! Even post a note saying when the story will be continued, or why it won't, or something. Just don't leave us at a cliff hanger!

On a technical note, your grammar is very good, I haven't seen many mistakes, and your story is well written - bravo! I think that Jack is sometimes a tiny bit out of character (I can't say why, just a feeling) but otherwise everyone is really well captured. Yay!

So, continue writing and we will all read!
