This was just wonderful, I'm a bit of a snob when it comes to fanfiction. I've been spoiled by being an avarice reader of actual fiction. This however was lovely, and extremely well written. Thank you for adding a lovely repreive in an otherwise dreary day.

That was absolutely beautiful.
I was so happy to finally find a realistic in-character romantic interaction between Hermione and Severus- it's incredibly rare on fanfic- and I really appreciated the subtlety and how you didn’t over-analyse their relationship or spend time on them mooning over each other like overly hormonal thirteen year-olds or shaging like bunnies.
This story was incredibly mature and beautiful.

Hey, what about a sequel?

I've never before reviewed a story on ff.net though I've read many. However, this was very good- sucked me in right from the first. Please keep writing!

(First, let me say that the only thing I didn't really agree with in this story is Malfoy dancing in his boxers in the middle of a crowd. It just doesn't seem like something a Slytherin would do no matter how drunk he is.)

Other than that all I can really say is WOW! I was completely captured by this story. I stumbled onto this site accidentally and this makes me wish I had found it sooner! The graceful and almost seamless way H leaves her childhood and enters adulthood in one day is a great way to lead up to the scene with S & H dancing. It's difficult to write a passionate scene without it coming out like ** or just plain corny, but this was perfect! I could almost feel the chemistry between the two as they came closer and closer together and I discovered that I was holding my breath without realizing it just like H did at one point. The way you left the readers to use their imaginations as to what happens next was a perfect ending and I'm almost afraid a follow up chapter would spoil the images the reader is left with. But I must admit that I'm curious to see your point of view on what comes next.
I loved your story and hope to read more from you soon! (And I definitely agree with Suzanne: for MANY reasons, work was probably not the best place to read this! Sitting in a straight back chair under flourescent lights didn't do the story the justice it deserves!)

This is brilliant!! I loved the way the story was subtly bringing them together, so in character, so mistrusting, but reacting to each other. It made me laugh out loud and have tears in my eyes- work was possibly not the best place to read this fic .
Well done, and please, please do a sequel. I've added to you to my fav author list, something as rare as hen's teeth.
