I love it, though that should be obvious because I went all the way to LJ to ask you about it. And I like this version much better than the one I read on the other account. I didn't have quite the right feel with Kit. And... I don't like her. I love how everyone is in character here and all that. Oftentimes when one is reading about various worlds involving magic, they forget about the magic. They forget to involve it or make references to it. And since the magic is such a massive part of both Raistlin's and Dalamar's lives I think it's excellent that you remembered to keep it in there. On the nit-picking side I did notice a couple minor typos but other that that, this is the best Dragonlance fanfiction I have read thus far, and one of the best fanfictions in general that I have head in some time. I'm off to read more now because I would love to see the confused look on Caramon's face.

When I was a young girl (over ten years ago, if I remember correctly), I read most of the DraconLance-books. I loved them then and I still do.

Even thought I was quite young at the time (12-14 years old), I remember that I thought that Raistlin and Dalamar would be an interesting couple. Thus, I was absolutely delighted when, after more than a decade, I stumbled upon your story.

And what a wonderfull story it is. It´s splendid! I can not praise your story enought. The characterization was perfect, the plot-line very captivating and the whole story altogether well written. (Altough, being a twin myself, I was bothered of how Raistlin treated Caramon. But I understand that it was an important aspect of the story, and Raistlin´s chracter would have suffered, if you have made him more kind.)

I noticed that this story has sequels, and I will read (devour) them also. I just adore long stories that have long sequels. Oh, the bliss.

awesome story. i read it originally on skyhawke but since i have an account here and not there decided to review here. Raistlin was a bit ooc but much better than in most stories ive read...its kinda hard to write any pairing with him where he isnt a little ooc, hes just not one to go for the whole love thing. im trying to listen to the songs too, at the biginnings. so far my fave is Black Velvet.

I've only been recently introduced to Dragonlance- and I already love it! I'm afraid I haven't yet met Dalamar in the series, but I do think you're quite loyal to Raistlin's character. I really enjoyed your story- will read the next installments, of course!!

This was fantastic. Thank you so much. I don't belive I have ever read a fan work about these two that was so in character. I also find that it was well writen, although you used a few phrases that were slightly out of character by wording if not by meaning. I have to say, the lack of smut did disapoint me slightly, but no more than that. The story on it's own was more than enough to satisfy and keep me interested. I truely wish to see more from you.

On that note, I'd like to help address a few of the questions you asked before. I'll try to be breif, but please feel free to e-mail me if you'd like as I'd love to debate this with you, I honestly would.

First off, you say you've scrambled the world but aren't sure how. I'd have to say I can think of quite a few affects of this, starting with the fact that a Raistlin with something to live for other than the magic might not be quite so ready to 'sell his soul' in the test.

Although, more imedietly, I could see this having a few efects. For one, what would Caramon think? His little brother being taken from him by some evil outsider. "Raist wouldn't understand about stuff like this, I have to protect him" type dealings. Kitiara will start being worse to him, for obvious reasons. Dalamar the Dark won't likely be able to study magic in Solice, not without some difficulty, will he perhaps promp Raistlin to leave his homeland? There is a fic just in that, I'm sure. I doubt Dalamar would want to break down and tell Raistlin how much of a problem he's having either...

I know I'm rambling here, and it is becoming an annoyance to me. Please, if you'd like some feedback, or a sounding board to bounce ideas off of, you know where you can reach me. Don't hesitate.
